This course identifies electrical and mechanical hazards found in the dental environment and how to implement safe work practices when using equipment and handling energy sources. This course also covers machine guarding, shielding, use of rotary equipment, and lockout/tagout. This course is ideal for all dental employees, safety coordinator, and anyone who is responsible for or oversees repairs and preventive maintenance of equipment.
