SafeLink's Gary Morgan Returns to NADL University to Teach Quality Assurance & GMP

SafeLink Consulting is proud to share that Gary Morgan, CDT, CQA/ASQ our Senior Vice President & Partner, will once again be leading a core session at NADL University this September — helping the next generation of dental laboratory managers build the quality systems their labs depend on.

What Is NADL University?

Every year, the dental laboratory industry runs into the same problem: not enough qualified managers to lead the labs that keep dentistry running. The National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) created NADL University to close that gap, offering a two-day, intensive program that leads to a Certificate in Dental Laboratory Management.

This year's session takes place September 17–18, 2026, at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel in Tempe, Arizona, with attendees arriving the evening of September 16. The program is open to professionals who meet at least one of the following: a completed dental lab technology program plus a year of industry experience, three or more years working in a dental laboratory, or five or more years in a related healthcare field.

The curriculum is built around five modules that map directly to the real challenges of running a lab: business models and changing demographics, quality assurance and manufacturing practices, profitability and benchmarking, maximizing business performance, and marketing and business control. Together, they're designed to turn experienced technicians into well-rounded lab managers.

Gary Morgan Takes On Quality Assurance and GMP

Of those five modules, SafeLink is especially proud to have Gary Morgan, CDT, CQA/ASQ leading the session on Quality Assurance Systems and Good Manufacturing Practices, scheduled for Thursday, September 17, from 12:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Gary has spent more than 30 years working at the intersection of compliance and dental manufacturing. He holds his CDT (Certified Dental Technician) credential alongside a CQA/ASQ (Certified Quality Auditor, American Society for Quality) certification, and he's an OSHA Authorized Trainer. As SafeLink's Senior Vice President & Partner, he works with dental practices and laboratories every day to turn regulatory requirements — the parts of the job most people dread — into systems that actually make operations stronger and safer.

His work in the dental industry has earned him both the NADL Merit Award and the DLAT Hall of Fame Award — recognition that reflects just how much impact he's had on the profession.
