Onsite Safety Survey

This valuable onsite service measures the effectiveness of your safety program and provides an objective outsider’s viewpoint regarding safety compliance. Our consultant conducts a thorough survey of your current safety procedures to provide you with a checklist of the items that need to be reviewed in order to ensure a safe workplace. This includes a walk-thru of the facility reviewing electrical issues, fire safety, first aid, emergency procedures, chemical safety, machine guarding, personal protective equipment requirements, and infection control. The Federal OSHA standards are taken into consideration along with any applicable State Right-to-Know plans.

  • Facility Walk-through and Evaluation conducted by an Authorized Trainer under OSHA’s Outreach Program
  • Review of Potential Hazards - Electrical, Fire Safety, First Aid, Emergency Procedures, Chemical Safety, Machine Guarding, PPE, Infection Control
  • Consideration of Federal and State OSHA Requirements
  • Executive Summary of Recommendations

External Quality Audits

DAMAS and FDA require dental labs to conduct periodic external or internal audits. This audit is an independent, unbiased, fact-finding exercise that evaluates a dental lab's existing quality program to determine its conformance to comply with policies, contract commitments and regulatory requirements. It is strongly recommended that 2—3 weeks prior to a third party audit that this external audit be performed. The external audit results and corrective actions would typically be taken into consideration by the third party auditor in their decision for certification.
